Is my refrigerator a good substitute for a humidor?
Answered By Allan Hixby, Editor
Storing cigars inside your refrigerator is
not a very good idea. This is because most
refrigerators today have built in
dehumidifiers that will have an opposite
effect for what you want, and that is to
humidify your cigars. Storing your cigars
inside a refrigerator will dry them out and
ruin them. This is why you should buy your
own humidor instead of using your
refrigerator as a substitute.
