How do i keep my humidor for going over 70% humidity?

Can you answer raguirrejr@verizon.net's question about humidors?:

I"ve got a high grade Humidor for my cigars which includes a state of the art digital gauge but no matter how little i soake my himidification media it's always over 70% and more in the 80's. Any Ideas?

Stop farting in the room where the humidor is…the CO2 is not good for it!

well you can't soak out this kind of humidity – to get the gauge below 70%, you would have to go to another area in the country (like texas). or find a sauna nearby…

read the instructions–call the company that made the humidor–i am sure they could help you out

Try putting in a dry piece of wood, or something similar to absorb the moisture, and of course make sure your gauge isn't broken. I've talked to a lot of cigar store people who say those gauges aren't worth anything. Also you can tell it's too much if you're cigars start to grow mold. Do you keep it stocked full. It really needs to be over half full or more to work properly. Don't try to just keep one cigar at a time in it. Good luck.
