Best way to store a cigar out of humidor for 24 hours?

Can you answer gocubbies80's question about humidors?:
Im going to a concert tomorrow and my humidor is at work. I am taking a bucnh of my little cigars for me and some friends(not the expensive ones) They have been in the humidor for about 3 months now and wa swondering if I should store them a certain way when I take them home and on the way to the concert.
