How can I lower the humidity in my cigar humidor?

Can you answer Stephen B's question about humidors?:
My hygrometer is reading about 77%, and I know it should be closer to 68-72%. I don't know how to make it lower though.

First make sure that you hygrometer is accurate. Wet a towel and wrap your hygrometer in it check it after about 30 minutes it should read around 98-100% humidity. If the hygrometer is O.K. Then open the lid of the humidor for a day or two to let things dry a little. Good Luck.
