how do you use a humidor?
Can you answer SeattleDOG's question about humidors?:
What is the black thing in the humidor box? What should the hygrometer read? What if it's too humid or too dry in the box? Is there a way to adjust the humidity in the box?

TO START THE BLACK THING IS TO HOLD WATER, SOAK IT IN A GLASS OF WATER FOR 24 HOURS… START BY TAKING A SOFT WHITE TOWEL AND WETTING THE INSIDE OF YOUR BOX (ALL OF IT) MAKE SURE IT IS GOOD AND WET (NOT DRIPPING THOUGH) LET IT SET OVER NIGHT AND REPEAT THE NEXT DAY… FILL WITH YOUR CIGARS AND INSERT THE WATER CANISTER… HYGROMETER SHOULD BE ABOVE 60… THE MORE CIGARS YOU PUT IN THE LOWER THE READING WILL BE… I USE A SEPARATOR AND PUT A SMALL TRAY OF WATER IN ALSO, IT HELPS KEEP THEM MOIST… GOOD LUCK.
