Advice for purchasing a cabinet humidor?

Can you answer Amy T's question about humidors?:

I want to buy a cabinet-size, large humidor. I want something that is very nice quality but also reasonably priced. I've found one on www.cabinethumidors-online.com that is completely Spanish-cedar lined and constructed of cherry. It fits up to 1500 cigars and is available for $699. The dimensions are 23"W x 17"D x 68"H.

Is this a good deal? Most humidors I've seen are much more expensive and made of the same materials. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it very much!

How long will cigars keep in a shoebox-sized humidor?

Can you answer Kal-El's question about humidors?:

I have read that cigars only get better with age…is this true? I really like Tatyana Vanilla and am interested in purchasing a personal humidor to keep some in for special occasions. If anyone has any recommendations or information, I am very interested.

P.S. Do the humidors that come with the special offers in magazines ("X" amount of cigars plus a humidor for $15.95. An $85 dollar value!" found in Playboy) have a good quality to them or is it better to buy one elsewhere?
