The Nearest Thing to a Healthy Cigarette You Will Find

If you haven't heard of them yet, hold on to your hat. Electronic cigarettes are storming the market and offer so many advantages over traditional tobacco cigarettes that they are destined to be deemed a revoutionary product. Learn why smokers are switching to e-cigarettes in droves.

Who among us isn't affected by the constant anti-smoking advertising and warnings of near-certain disease and death resulting from smoking cigarettes? Today's smokers find it very difficult to find any enjoyment in smoking after work or a meal due to all of the social and medical backlash. Even the worries about secondhand smoke have caused smokers to be purshed into distant corners of parking garages or into their cars, away from any public areas. As such, a lot of smokers have been searching for safer and milder cigarettes for health reasons. But, is that really enough?

While filters and light tobacco cigarettes reduce the amount of nicotine a person inhales, the chemicals present in the cigarettes are still enough to cause health problems and most scientists maintain that, in the long run, the small difference between light and full-flavored cigarettes does not necessarily result in a safer smoking experience. Other types of tobacco products, such as chewing tobacco, are thought to be slightly safer as there is nothing inhaled but on the other hand, chewing tobacco multiplies the chances of getting mouth, tongue or throat cancer.

While not truely, chemical-free, the new Electronic Cigarettes appear to be the closest thing to a Healthy Cigarette that you are going to find on the market today. Thought to be the safest alternative to tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes are ground-breaking. Electronic cigarettes look like conventional cigarettes in most cases but do not require a flame. Although they contain nicotine, it is the only chemical that users inhale, allowing smokers to satisfy their craving while avoiding the 4,800 other chemicals present in tobacco cigarettes, of which 69 of them are known to cause cancer, nicotine not being one of them. It gets even better.

E-cigarettes are safer than tobacco cigarettes for quite a few reasons. First, there's no flame or smoke at all, which decreases the risk of heart disease and lung cancer. Second, they only contain the one chemical – nicotine. Smokers may not be aware of the potential for psychological dependence on simply the act of smoking, such as the inhaling and exhaling of the smoke. This was certainly something that the inventors of the electronic cigarettes took into account. E-Cigarettes hold water vapor and propylene glycol, a basic ingredient in food coloring that gives the water vapor just enough color to be seen by the user as they exhale. These "vapors" are harmless, odorless and are only present to add the illusion of smoking and increase the pleasure of using electronic cigarettes.

Perhaps the greatest benefit over conventional cigarettes is the freedom from smoking bans. With widespread smoking bans in most public places it's getting more and more difficult for those who need nicotine to smoke while working, shopping or while dining out. Electronic cigarettes give people the ability to smoke anywhere and everywhere! Officials in parts of Europe have deemed the electronic cigarette a public-friendly product. For smokers who are tired of having to locate the!

Are you frustrated by the constant, outrageous, "sin"-tax hikes on cigarettes? Get this: Electronic Cigarettes are CHEAPER than tobacco products. Instead of smoking a pack a day, or about twenty cigarettes, you can get the proper quantity of nicotine with only one electronic cigarette cartridge, which is equivalent to about thirty cigarettes, or a pack and a half. Since you will essentially be smoking a single cigarette until it's empty or starts to taste wake, you might even be able to start cutting down. Cartridges generally come in groups of five for about fifteen dollars, which works out to approximately one dollar per pack. Wow.

Let's review. Are you looking to improve your health? Are you sick and tired of being pushed to the corners? is the cost of tobacco cigarettes starting to beat you down? Electronic Cigarettes are the answer….hands down. We review the best and the brightest right here

Tips For Buying Only The Best Cigars

Are you wondering how to choose a worthy cigar for a close friend or loved one, or do you have a cigar lover on your present list? Just learning a couple of basic principles can help you sniff out (literally) a good cigar to give to a buddy, even if you nothing about cigars. When looking for good cigars, also think of a cigar humidor to keep them fresh.

Fortunately, cigars have now entered the mainstream and although they were once the symbol of the rich and powerful, it's easier than ever for just about anyone to purchase a good cigar. Of course, you probably won't be able to buy your friend a box of top-tier Cuban cigars, but you can definitely buy them a good quality cigar that will put a smile on their face.

First, avoid drugstore cigars, and instead be sure to visit your local tobacco or specialty smoke shop for the best quality and widest selection of cigars. Although they may be inexpensive and convenient to purchase, drugstore cigars are usually filled with preservatives and generally of poorer quality. They may contain, at minimum, saltpeter, paper, glycerin, and other preservatives and irritants so you should make sure that the cigars you purchase are made of 100 percent tobacco. Always be sure to ask the salesperson for more information regarding the ingredients containing in the cigar you wish to purchase. The sales clerk, if experienced and knowledgeable, should be able to provide you a plethora of information about the ingredients.

The best place to shop for cigars is usually your local tobacco shop, because you will be allowed to smell and touch the cigars. A good quality cigar will give a little when squeezed, with no excessively hard or soft spots, so be sure to squeeze the cigar and never buy a lumpy one. If you notice any drying or discoloration in the wrapper, it is best not to buy it. The best cigars are ideally smooth and tight. Inspect the end of the cigar, and look at the color of the tobacco to make sure it is evenly colored. If the color changes abruptly, then the cigar was probably not rolled properly, although some color variation is normal. Uneven burning and unpleasant odors are often the result of an improperly rolled cigar.

If you are certain that your friend is a cigar aficianado, be sure to choose a cigar that is thicker, because they tend to have a much richer flavor that experienced smokers will appreciate. If you're not sure how much your friend smokes, choose a longer cigar as they are inclined to have a 'cooler' taste—an excellent choice for beginners. Finally, ask your friend if he knows about cigar humidors. They are an excellent device for storing cigars.

Cigar Accessories A Collector Cannot Be Without

Cigar cutters

Quality cigar accessories can enhance the experience of indulging in a great stogie and there are a few tools that serious aficionados should not be without. In this article, we'll tell you which surprising goodies from a cigar shop or grocery store can make smoking one a luxurious treat.

Cigar cutters are used to remove or penetrate the cap of a cigar before smoking it. There are three basic types of cuts: the straight cut, the wedge or "V" cut and the hole punch. The type of cut to make is based on personal preference and the size and/or shape of the cigar. The straight cut is the most common. The double blade guillotine is preferred by many aficionados because it usually makes a cleaner cut. The wedge or "V" cutter resembles the guillotine cutter, but the shape of the blade slices a wedge into the cap of the cigar instead of cutting it completely off. The hole punch is used to put a hole in the cap of the cigar instead of just cutting it off. If a cutter or hole punch isn't available, a hole cut can be made in a cigar using a pen or pencil.

If you are one to purchase expensive varieties, like a Cuban cigar, then here is a cigar accessory you'll definitely need. Unlike a cigar box, a humidor prevents your cigars from drying out or becoming infested by insects. For private use, small wooden or acrylic glass humidor boxes will store a few dozen. Humidors of all sizes use hygrometers to keep track of the humidity levels. The ideal humidity in one of these units is around 65-75%.

As stated, one of the most important cigar accessories to own, is a humidor to keep the cigars moist. If they dry out, you will unlikely ever enjoy the rich aroma. However, while many people enjoy the rich fragrance of a good cigar, there are others who find it overwhelming. Wearing artificial fibres will minimize the amount of odor that your clothes absorb. Store your clothing in a plastic bag with baking soda before they can be cleaned. To keep a room smelling fresh, use a spray deodorizer expressly formulated for tobacco smoke. This isn't as effective as an air purifier but it will help. Lastly, take vitamins to flush nicotine from your system and freshen your breath. Chlorophyll and parsley extract will make your mouth fresher. Vitamin A, vitamin C, aged (kyolic) garlic extract, spirulina, wheat grass and young barley grass will all help to cleanse nicotine from your system.

Personalized cigar boxes or lighters are great but not all of your cigar accessories will come from a smoke shop. To avoid offending people who don't share your appreciation for the aroma of cigar smoke, keep a few key products around your home to get rid of the smell and pay attention to your personal hygiene. This will make cigar smoking pleasurable for everyone.
